Hello family!
Sorry to blow up your inbox this week but we have another urgent prayer request. Stephen woke up this morning in great pain in his groin area. After speaking on the phone with qualified medical professionals, it is most likely one of three options: a really bad strain (the most desirable outcome), a light hernia, or testicular torsion. Both the later options would potentially require surgery with torsion requiring almost immediate.
Based off a variety of factors, the severity of the symptoms, and our faith after what we have walked through so far trying to get to Escondido, we decided to place our trust in the Great Physician and in our prayer support team. Our plan as of now is to wake up healed! But if the Lord has other means of healing we will re-evaluate and seek medical attention ASAP. We are still about 10 hours from Escondido and if a surgery is required we would love the grace for it to happen there for a speedy recovery (that does not include sitting 10 hours in a car on a fresh surgery wound ;)
We ask for specific prayer for healing, grace, mercy, and greater trust! We have remained joyful in this and ask for prayer that we remain there and do not allow the enemy to steal our joy!
