Hello!
First off, thank you so much for your prayers, support, encouragement, worship songs, and scripture you have sent. Each message I received gave my Spirit great strength to continue trusting the Father in both the pain and the relief.
After sending out the prayer request, I had some immediate response from people who had been woken up by the Lord to pray and then read my email and knew why they had been wakened. This was the start of me seeing our GOOD Father loving His children through His Bride, the Church. Stephen was absolutely amazing and helped me to an epsom salt bath in the middle of the night where we prayed and continued to worship then got me back in bed where I could lay on ice and hopefully get some rest. As we prayed, the pain did not subside however, I felt so deeply the presence of the Lord. There was a pure pleasure and delight flowing through my body as I knew His encouragement, His love, and there was nothing more real to me than that God was in me and surrounding me. As I confessed my fear through pain and sobbing, He answered with His peace, with His spirit, with Himself.
We dozed off a little after 6 am to nap a little before Church. Stronger than ever in my spirit was the need to be at the Church and prayed over by the Body. I truly couldn't wait for the hours to pass so that I could be there- even if Stephen had to carry me in and lay me on the ground- I knew more than ever my desperate need for the body and for community.
The second we crossed the threshold from the parking lot into Church, I could feel a little bit of pain subside. I knew God was up to something. I was able to walk ok and stay up right without getting woozy. As we began to sing the song "Raise a Hallelujah", I did exactly that- raised a hallelujah in the presence of my enemies. I asked the Father if there was any more fear residing in me so that I could confess it and surrender it over to Him. He showed me a massive wound on my back that was festering and had these dark maggot like things in it. The maggots were of the enemy and was fear that was eating away at the physical wound He was showing me on my back. As I surrendered, the maggots were gone and it was just the wound and I sensed God say, you will be healed 50% today.
A few minutes later, my dear friend Jen took me out of the sanctuary so that her massage therapist friend could have a look at my back. She layed me down and began praying and asking the Holy Spirit as she slowly examined my back and felt around to see what was going on. Thankfully nothing was torn and it seemed like my deepest muscles were spasm-ing and locking up causing the pain as well as the immobility. She even could feel the place where my blood vessels constricted that would make me woozy and was able to work a bit in that area! I left there feeling quite a bit better and headed back into the sanctuary because the congregation was to pray over us sending us out into ministry.
We went up front as Don and Jen Love gave a bit of our story and prayer requests to the congregation and lastly informed them of what was happening in my back. We had many people come lay hands and pray and again, the presence of the Lord, His encouragement, His comfort was so intense surging through my body. We had a few people individually pray over me and about 10 minutes later, a woman came up to me and said "I am a Chiropractor, can I look at your back". I was amazed. Both a massage therapist and a chiropractor both approached me within the Body to serve me. We went back into the nursery where I could lay on the floor and be adjusted. She confessed "I didn't want to stay and socialize today so I went out to my car after service to leave and I felt like I couldn't get in. I was so convicted by the Spirit and knew God was telling me to come in to help you". She prayed and found my back was way out of alignment, did a few adjustments, and within minutes we were walking away, my pain greatly decreased.
We said our goodbyes (for now) to our church family members and went to our car to go home and pack with the help of our amazing life group. Driving home Stephen asked me: on a pain scale, what would you say you were at this morning? I said 9/10. He asked "what about now"? And I responded 4/10. We praised the Lord in great thanksgiving that in prayer, massage, adjustments, and love, he had worked mightily. Then it hit me- that's about 50%!!!! What a good Father we have.
Please continue to pray against the evil one! I had a dream last night being attack by a black snake on that section of my back and was paralyzed in the dream then woke up still paralyzed and immediately began praying out loud to which I felt some twitches under my shoulder blade and the muscles relax back to the "normal" pain level. Pray that none of these weapons formed against will remain and for the overwhelming grace of God to heal the physical issue in His time.
I give thanks and praise the Lord for HE alone is the LIGHT in the darkness and the One who is greater than he who is in the world. Praise Jesus for His blood shed, for His victory over the evil one, and may ALL the glory be unto HIM alone!!! We praise you Jesus for you alone are worthy of all the honor, praise, and glory!!!
