September  Hello! Thank you so much for your continued support and prayers. What a blessing it is to have both the local church as well as the Church all over the world caring for you and loving you. September has brought with it it's new challenges and transitions but we are deeply thankful to our Father for provinding for us and seeing us through every dark valley and every delightful mountaintop.  I went with a friend to a little town called Julian which is where southern Californians go to pick apples! It was very hot and very dusty but we found this little pie shop where there were actual trees!!! I miss the color green and actual trees that aren't palm trees or shrubs.  This month started off feeling very chaotic and scattered then one wave after another began to crash until we made it to the end of the month with some smoother waters. I started off the month working way too much to be able to not only keep up in school but to digest the information and allow it to transform my mind and heart. With the wisdom God granted through your prayers, I decided that I needed to leave nannying and just work part time at the school. The high stress of chasing around 2 toddlers was making me unable to have mental energy to put twards class time or classwork. This past week was my second full week only working at the school and I am seeing a HUGE difference in my mental and emotional energy- praise the Lord!  I am deeply hopeful for the season we are in and for what is to come. Hope isn't natural for me so this is truly a miracle worked in my heart by our Father.  This month has also brought on a wave of covid related sicknesses. Not for us but for family and friends. In the middle of the month we found out that Stephen's aunt had been in the hospital for weeks with covid. We weren't made aware until she was almost at her end. She was to be transferred to hospice a week and a half ago but denied it and was sent home to live out her final days. We are just waiting on the day. It has been very trying for the family and challenging for Stephen who wants to be there to minister the gospel to his family.  On top of that, Stephen's dad, mom, and sister all also got covid but they are all healthy and recovering- Praise God! Our best friend at school also got covid this month so it has been lonely without his presence.  We have managed to escape getting it somehow but have felt the weight of it's effects heavily this month.  September has brought on a great necessity to have grace on ourselves and each other as we navigate new rhythms of life but we are thankful for the Father's grace navigating us through it. Thank you for praying for us, I cannot emphasize enough how much that means to us and I deeply believe that the Father works greatly through the prayers of His people!
